2002 Ford Explorer Sport
Here's a forgotten model from the Ford truck lineup...the rare, 2-door Explorer Sport. This was the last year for a 2-door version of Ford's long-running SUV, making it an unusual sight on the roads today. It's currently on its 3rd owner from new.
Far from perfect, this vehicle does have its issues...but the 4-litre V6 engine continues to run strong at 167,000 with good acceleration and maneuverability. There is rust underneath...including the cab mounts and slight body damage over the passenger rear wheel. The cluster shows a check-engine light for a lean-running situation.
The aftermarket Pioneer Stereo works well..and it is blue-tooth connected.
Asking $2000 or best.
1960 Austin-Healey Sprite
This is a complete & all-original car that is ready to be taken on for a restoration project. This little 1960 convertible has been sitting far too long and is ready for reassembly to be returned to the road.
The car appears mostly complete, with the interior disassembled. The only thing that has not yet been found is the windshield. There's a fair amount of rust in the floors and underneath but the doors and the hood and most of the rear clip are in good condition. Drivetrain is still in the car so it should roll, though it will need to be trailered (wheels are currently off).
It has been sitting in its current tent since the 1990s. Many more pics avail.
Asking $1000 or best.
1980 Shay Model A
A Modernized Classic
As the 70s were drawing to a close, the Shay Motor Corporation struck an agreement with Ford Motor Company to build early Ford bodies with modernized running gear. The result was the Shay Model A.
This example is based on a 1929 Model A, and with many upgrades to boot. Among them, the rims & tires seen..although the original tires & rims although the original tires & rims are a part of the deal.
This car is a load of fun that rides great. The current owners admit that their grandkids will miss the rumbleseat rides !
1984 Ford Mustang convertible
One Fine Fox Body
Arguably Ford's most-successful generation was the "Fox Body," built from 1979 into the early 90s. This example is a beauty, indeed with 121,000 miles.
It's been on the local scene for the last year, sporting a 3.8 litre V6 and automatic transmission for easier cruising. This car is mint, inside and out with no rust or rips and beautiful paint...plus a brand new convertible top..
It also wears the stunning set of wheels seen in the picture..

1988 Chevy Caprice Estate
A true American family classic
Full-size Chevy station wagons were nearing the end of their line as this stylish, full-size family hauler came to market.
Sporting the "5-litre" V8 (which was, in actuality, the GM corporate 307 motor) and a 4-barrel quadra-jet...this is an absolute beautiful example of the model.
As you can see, it's blue with the wood-grain "Estate" side trim. This wagon is all original with the exception of a full repaint about 15 years ago. Mileage is approximately 106k.
The vehicle has lost its storage and needs a new, loving home.
1970 Ford Fairlane 500
Cool Midsize Project
Fairlane 500 was the mid-trim level of the Fairlane-Torino midsize line as the 1960s became the 1970s..
This example has a V8 302 and automatic transmission. It starts, runs & drives..and is ready for a thorough restoration to bring it back to its original glory.
It has power steering and manual drum brakes. The brakes are spongy and it is need of rust repair in the typical places on the rear quarters and rocker panels...but floor work has already been done and many of the missing parts can be found inside or in the trunk.
The vehicle can be seen, by appointment, in Sterling, CT.
Asking $4500 or best offer.

1978 Mercury Cougar XR7
Restore while you drive !
It was the era of the "big cats." The last of the largest Cougars built were the late '70s models, measuring over 215" in length.
This '78 Cougar is a project-in-the-works, with the added bonus of running and driving well. It is in need of cosmetics to bring it back to its original splendor.
It's powered by a 351-windsor motor and has an FMX automatic transmission. Many parts are new...including a new carburetor, new shocks, new tires & brakes. Loss of space forces the sale.
The vehicle has been with its present owner for 4 years.
Asking $2500 or best offer.

1929 Ford Stake Truck
This beautiful classic Ford truck has spent its life working & representing its companies over the years as a fabulous advertising tool.
It's a Stakebed Dually that has spent many, many years now as a garage-kept vehicle..and that plain to see, given its good condition. It runs...and is ready to be put back to work, representing your business...whether it be via displaying product or as a rolling banner at local parades, festivals and the like.
The vehicle can be seen, by appointment, in Scituate, RI.
1965 Ford Mustang
Few cars out of Detroit ever made history in the same way as Ford's first Mustang...and this is a prime example of the breed !
Hailing from the first full model year for Mustang..this 1965 hardtop is a wonderful original that has been garaged throughout its current ownership. The body is great shape with no rust. It does, however, need some TLC under the hood.
It's the perfect project for someone who likes to "tinker" under the hood.
All it needs now is a new home (garage) to call its own.
1968 Ford Galaxie 500
Relatively few of these big, beautiful Ford convertibles were ever built with less than 12,000 rolling off the assembly lines.
This fine example will be a beauty to own. It's a structurally sound & solid car that's simply flawless inside and out...finished in Midnight Blue with a light blue interior. The engine is a V8-302. Features on this stunning Ford include front disc brakes and Cragar rims, AM/FM radio and an air-bagged rear suspension.
This fine ride was bought new in California and eventually brought to RI, where it has been in the possession of its current owner for 10 years. The body is "straight as an arrow" and it's completely ready to roll.
1964 Mercury Park Lane
A rare find
For 1964...Park Lane was the top of the Mercury line...and this 2-door hardtop is a mighty rare model, one of fewer than 1800 built that year.
This example carries the 390 engine and has been converted to a 4-on-the floor. It has also been upgraded with a front disc brake conversion.
Among the factory options on the car are: power steering, power brakes and power windows (including the power "Breezeway" rear window that was nearly always found exclusively on 4-door models).
It also sports optional fender-tip turn indicators.
Offered at $11,000 or best offer.

Buick's first true post-war style debuted with the 1950 Buick and set the tone for the decade ahead.
One step below Cadillac in the GM lineup, the all-new Buick offered incredible luxury and a powerful straight-8 engine.
This wonderful example, in convertible form, runs and drives nicely, features new paint, chrome and interior as well. From its distinctive, toothy grille to a bright set of wide whitewall tires...this Buicks needs only a new driveway to call home.
Offered at $49,500
